About Dr. Shah
Dr. Margi Shah grew up in India and decided to become a dentist inspired by her aunt who was a dentist. She moved to the United States in 2010 and graduated in 2013 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of California, San Francisco. Her husband’s work brought them to beautiful San Diego and she has been practicing here as a general dentist since 2014.
She is a good listener and makes sure she listens to and understands her patients’ concerns, educates them and prioritizes her recommendations to address those concerns in an effective manner. Her goal is to achieve beautiful and healthy smiles that her patients deserve. She has been an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Diego County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She has also continued her education by training in courses for advanced General Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry and Invisalign.
In her free time Dr. Shah enjoys playing tennis, hiking, painting and traveling with her husband.
